Good Friday

Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began
Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth
CrucifiedLaid behind the stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of us
Above all...
~Michael W. Smith~

His state was divine,
yet Christ Jesus did not cling
to his equality with God
but emptied himself
to assume the condition of a slave,
and become as men are,
he was humbler yet,
even to accepting death,
death on a cross
Ours were the sufferings he bore,
ours the sorrows he carried.
but we thought of him as someone punished,
struck by God and brought to low.
Yet he was pierced through for our sins.
On him lies a punishment that brings us peace,
and through his wounds we are healed.
We had all gone astray like sheep,
each taking his own way,
and the Lord burdened him
with the sins of all of us.
Harshly dealt with, he bore it humbly
he never opened his mouth,
like a lamb that is led to slaughter-house,
like a sheep that is dumb before its shearers
never opening its mouth.
By force and by law he was taken;
Would anyone plead his cause?
Yes, he was torn away from the land of the living;
For our faults struck down in death.
They gave him a grave with the wicked,
a tomb with the rich,
though he had done no wrong
and there has been no perjury in his mouth.

He is Alive! We had a good typical UPM celebration last night. Took even longer than the church's celebration because of you know what... possibly my last celebration or 'official' celebration there.. and so... we celebrate LIFE! Happy Easter Jenn.

MARY!!!! ARE YOU ALIVE? CHRISTMAS? Errrr.......... hahahaha...

Happy Easter to all of you Pete, Fr.Chris and drumsticks. Sorry I did not send any sms, poor mah, nevertheless I wish you all well.=)

I wish I was in KL this Easter Fr. One of the newly baptised CSS member told me that she was sad not to have CSS witnessing her baptism, such a shame that the group had to split.Anyway life goes on for everyone, what happened is now history and memory, what happens now is most important.

I thought of them at Mass when we did have a lovely celebration but we have our limitation when it comes to working with the church. sigh.

Every mass celebrated by you has been beautiful. I guess I have been spoilt as such so much so that I have set high expectations on masses celebrated by other priests. i know the focus during mass should be on God and not on the priest but sometimes I just can't help it.I think like it or not how the mass is celebrated somehow has influence.

I guess obstacles are found everywhere, very often we allow ourselves to be over ruled by the obstacles due to our emotions not so much because there is no solution.
